It actually reminded me of a MOBA more than a traditional RPG, with the presence of cool-down abilities and real-time combat, and for a company like Nintendo to incorporate these ideas into their games is great. When I was watching gameplay for this game, I wasn't sure how it would work having not played Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, but it quickly became the most addictive part of the game for me. First off, I want to address my favorite thing about the game: the battle system. No, it's not perfect, but I think that the positives ultimately outweigh the negatives. Not only is it a fun and deep RPG, but it also acts as one of the largest and most beautiful games on the Wii U thus far. I tested Xenoblade Chronicles X on different Cemu versions and referred to the compatibility page of CEMU.ġ.10.0d - stable, no freeze, but many purple textures, audio staticġ.11.0c - runs good, known audio issues still presentġ.11.2 - runs very well, good performance and completely stableġ.11.3 - same above, plus in my opinion looks goodġ.11.4 - same above, but has some fps drops in certain areas, but no freezes, more like slowdownsġ.11.5 - not playable, crash when starting gameġ.11.6 - not playable, in this version the random freezes start to occurġ.12.1 and 1.12.2d - not playable, random freezes, task manager requiredġ.13.0e - not playable, looks stunning and very few purple textures bug, but again, freezing randomly. If you can't download the table from link above, I also attached it here. I tried contacting the Reddit-Users, but they don't seem to be active anymore. It worked until CEMU version 1.11.3, but from 1.11.4 and above, the "Scan Values Script" doesn't work anymore and all other addresses are not populated. It works by finding a specific address which is used to pinpoint the other values. This table has a "Scan Values Script" which is needed to enable all other options. The latest version of this now outdated table can be downloaded from (Link provided by ) Default configuration works fine.Ĭurrent version can be found here: CEMU needs a bit setup (Controller etc.) but nothing special. Graphic Packs optional but highly recommended.
